Every answer, counted.
A banner asks a question, and the answers tell you something. Gatelamp counts them from the consent records it already keeps, so you see how each site and each banner version does without tracking anyone.
Banner version 13 adds video. The next week you see how many people switch video on, and whether “Reject all” went up.
What you get
Per site, per answer
How many chose “Accept all”, “Reject all” or their own mix, per day, week or month.
Per category
What people switch on when they choose for themselves, like video but not statistics.
Per banner version
Each published version gets its own line, so you see what changed after a new tool or a new text.
Global Privacy Control
Browsers that send GPC count as their own answer, so you see how many said no before the banner could ask.
No nudging
There’s no A/B test to raise the accept rate. The rules for the banner stay the same, whatever the numbers say.
Consent stats: common questions
- What do the consent stats show?
- How many visitors chose “Accept all”, “Reject all” or their own mix, per site, per category and per banner version, by day, week or month. Browsers that send Global Privacy Control count as their own answer.
- Do the stats track visitors?
- No. They’re counted from the consent records Gatelamp already keeps, which hold a random consent ID and no IP addresses. Nothing extra is collected for the stats.
- Can I A/B test the banner to get more people to accept?
- No. The stats show what visitors choose; they aren’t there to push anyone towards yes. The rules for the banner stay the same, whatever the numbers say.
